SUPERBAT combines the best features of SCs and rechargeable batteries by developing a roll-to-roll (R2R) mass-printed low-cost, environmentally friendly, and safe supercapattery (a combination of supercapacitor and battery) which can be used for powering flexible electronic systems. Such scalable 3D systems will also be attractive for applications with higher and variable power and energy requirements, e.g., as needed for drones.
